Cousin brother of Punjab Ranji cricketer, Anmolpreet Singh, PrabhSimran Singh is an explosive wicket-keeper batsman and started playing serious cricket at a tender age of 8. He scored truckload of runs for Punjab at different age groups and presented his case for the India U-19 selection. However, PrabhSimran suffered a set-back when he was ignored by the selectors for the Sri Lanka tour in August 2018.
He never buckled though, put in the hard yards and grabbed the attention of the selectors by carting a magnificent 298 in the Punjab U-23 district tournament for Patiala and his wait for the national call-up finally ended when was roped into the team for the ACC U-19 Asia Cup. PrabhSimran's IPL dream came true when he was bought by Kings XI Punjab for a lip-smacking sum of 4.8 Crores.
